Pot Luck?
The grade 6s have earned a prize through their classroom reward system. They have chosen to do a potluck day. I just wanted to check with parents first to see if that is okay with everyone. I know that some of you will do the prep and not your child:)
If anyone would prefer that the students not have a potluck, please contact me via e-mail or comment on this post. I let the kids know that if the potluck is too much hassle, we will do a movie day instead.
The reward day will be next Thursday (morning).

Raising Resilient Children (0 – 12 years)
ÉCPS has enabled its parents to participate in a webcast on the topic of raising resilient children. A child’s emotional resilience or ability to cope with his/her feelings is important to long-term happiness, well-being, and success in life. At the webcast, parents will learn about how to promote the six key resiliency skills within their child.
The webcast will take place on Tuesday, February 21st, at 7pm – 9pm, in our north foyer – coffee and snacks will be provided; please come out and join other parents in this special event. Revised goals for Math Minute!
Your Math Minute is due on Monday.
From now on, Math minutes will be review questions from previous units so that we can make sure we are not forgetting what we have learned in the past.
Today's minute asks you to look back to our decimals unit. If you can't remember your place values, use your book or notes to look back and figure your problem out!
